Itinerary:

Day 1: Delhi Leh (Flight): Enjoy one of the most exciting Himalayan flights to Leh. A traditional welcome awaits you at Leh airport (3150 mtrs) on arrival and then transfer to hotel. Full day rest to acclimatize yourself. Evening go for a brisk walk to stretch your body.

Day 2: Leh: After a leisure breakfast proceed for a halfday tour which includes visit to Shanti Stupa, Hall of Fame a memorial hall of our great soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country, and then visit the famous Spituk Monastery on the banks of river Indus. Afternoon free.

Day 3: Leh – Alchi or Ulley tokpo: With an early breakfast depart to Alchi 65 kms. Enroute visit the great statue of Mitreya Buddha at Likir. On arrival at the pictresque hamlet of Alchi have lunch and rest. Later visit the astounding Alchi Murals dating back to 1000 AD. The well preserved wall paintings of Alchi Monastery, finely carved wooden doors leading to its chambers are absolutely stunning and magnificent. The ASI protected monument of Alchi is next best after Tabo in Spiti and Ajanta in Maharashtra. Overnight Ulley-tokpo or Alchi.

Day 4: Alchi-Ulley-Tokpo: Excursion to Rizong: Day for excursion tour to 1831 built Rizong Monastery, built by the great Lama Tsultim Nima. The monastery is known for its strict adherence to monastic rules for its monks. 2 kms. Down, also visit Chulichan Nunnery. Back to Alchi for lunch, and then free to explore the lovely village.

Day 5: Alchi Leh: After breakfast drive back to Leh, enroute visit the famous “Golden Maitreya” statue – a sacred copper-gilt image of the Buddha Maitreya, two storeys in height at Basgo Castle. Arrive at Leh by afternoon. Rest of the day free for last minute souvenirs.

Day 6: Leh – Delhi (Flight): Morning after a light snacks, transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi, to enjoy yet again, a beautiful flight over the great Himalayas. Happy journey.

Terms & Conditions:
» Prices valid from 15th April to 15th October 2009.
» Prices valid for minimum 02, 04 & 06 pax Max traveling together in one vehicle.
» 25% Advance payment during confirmation of Tour and balance 75% payment to be deposited before the tour start.
» For the Month Jan – April & October – Dec we will provide Vehicle & Rooms with Heaters.
» During Off Season Pangong Lake Journey will be done in one-day excursion.
» During Off Season Heaters will be provided for Accommodation and Vehicle without any extra charges.
» For Cancellation please refer to our Terms and Conditions available at our booking office or your travel agents.
» Blocking of Rooms will be hold for period of 7 days only.      

Service with extra charge:
Cultural Programme: Rs: 1000/- Person.
Professional local tour guide: Rs: 1200/- Per day.
