Itinerary:

Day 1: Delhi – Leh (Flight): Enjoy one of the most exciting Himalayan flights to Leh. A traditional welcome awaits you at Leh airport (3150 mtrs) on arrival and then transfer to hotel. Fullday rest to acclimatize yourself. Evening go for a brisk walk to stretch your body.

Day 2: Leh – Alchi: After a leisure breakfast proceed to Alchi 65 kms, en-route visit the great statue of Mitreya Buddha at Likir village. Later arrive at the picturesque hamlet of Alchi, have lunch and rest. Afternoon visit the astounding Alchi Murals. The magnificent murals of Alchi is the greatest treasure of Ladakh.

Day 3: Alchi – Stok: Morning members can visit the monastery again, later after breakfast drive to Basgo Castle. En-route phot stop at the Zanskar-Indus river sangam at Nimoo. Drive along the Indus through Spituk-Choglamsar and arrive at Stok village.Lunch at the hotel and then visit the Royal Palace of Stok the residence of the Maharaja of Ladakh, which also houses a museum of Royal Artifacts. Overnight at Stok.

Day 4: Stok – Pangong Lake: Early at 0600 hrs we drive 140km, crossing over the Changla Pass 15000 ft, to Pangong Lake one of the largest and most beautiful natural brackish lakes in the Himalayas. Situated at 14000 ft, more than half of the lake is within Chinese Territory. Lunch at Pangong and explore the lake area. Evening explore the lake area, might catch some rare wildlife. Overnight at the Camp.

Day 5: Pangong – Leh: Enjoy the sunrise a Pangong, later drive back to Leh, enroute visit Hemis Monastery the most renowned Monastery in Ladakh for its sheer wealth & ancient Buddhist treasurers. Later visit Thiksey Monastery a mini Potala in its appearance. The statue of Maitreya Buddha ( Chamba ) at Thiksey is undoubtly one of most photographed and media popular Buddhist Statue in India.

Day 6: Leh – Khardong La – Leh: After an early breakfast, take an exciting drive to Khardongla Top at 18360 ft. The world highest motorable road. To be at a height of 5600 mtr. Is a test of your physical endurance and you can boasts of being at the base of Mt Everest, which is at the same altitude. Back to Leh by afternoon and free for last minute souvenirs

Day 7: Leh – Delhi (Flight): Morning after a light snacks, transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi, and enjoy the great Himalayas as you fly over them.

Terms & Conditions:
» Prices valid from 15th April to 15th October 2009.
» Prices valid for minimum 02, 04 & 06 pax Max traveling together in one vehicle.
» 25% Advance payment during confirmation of Tour and balance 75% payment to be deposited before the tour start.
» For the Month Jan – April & October – Dec we will provide Vehicle & Rooms with Heaters.
» During Off Season Pangong Lake Journey will be done in one-day excursion.
» During Off Season Heaters will be provided for Accommodation and Vehicle without any extra charges.
» For Cancellation please refer to our Terms and Conditions available at our booking office or your travel agents.
» Blocking of Rooms will be hold for period of 7 days only.      

Service with extra charge:
Cultural Programme: Rs: 1000/- Person.
Professional local tour guide: Rs: 1200/- Per day.
